Job Mandate

​

As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure. Reporting to the IT Manager, you will provide technical support to our team, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve productivity. If you are tech-savvy, enjoy solving problems, and are passionate about delivering exceptional service, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities

​

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to staff for hardware, software, and network issues.

  • Monitor and maintain IT systems, ensuring they are secure, up-to-date, and functioning properly.

  • Assist in the setup and configuration of new devices and software applications for team members.

  • Collaborate with the IT Manager to implement and improve IT policies and procedures.

  • Conduct regular system backups and assist in data recovery efforts as needed.

  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and manage the procurement of new devices and software.

  • Provide training and guidance to staff on IT tools and best practices.

Qualifications

​

  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Previous experience in an IT support role or help desk environment is preferred.

  • Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

  • Familiarity with network troubleshooting, hardware repair, and basic cybersecurity principles is a plus.
